About BlacATL30 A Black Blueprint Strategy
BlacATL30: Commanding the Future of Atlanta’s Black Community

BlacATL30 isn’t here to improve the current system but to replace it with a bold, unapologetic vision of Black power, ownership, and leadership. It is the umbrella under which Atlanta’s Black community declares its independence from outdated systems, channeling its resources, money, and ingenuity into building an ecosystem that centers our lives, businesses, and neighborhoods.

This is not a plan for gradual change. BlacATL30 is the blueprint for an all-encompassing takeover of our communities' economic, cultural, and social gaps. It doesn’t ask for a seat at the table—it creates new tables in neighborhoods across the city, each reflecting the distinct aspirations and values of the people who live there.

The Vision: One Movement, Infinite BlacATL30 is not just a citywide declaration; it's a unique and innovative approach to community empowerment. It envisions a future where every neighborhood is a fortress of Black excellence, driving its own transformation, powered and supported by the community's untapped wealth, talent, and leadership.
A Shared Foundation, Infinite Local Visions:
-
BlacATL30, while providing a bold citywide framework, empowers each neighborhood to design its own version of the plan. This individualized approach, tailored to specific strengths, cultures, and challenges, inspires and motivates us. Together, these plans form a unified ecosystem that ensures no corner of Atlanta is left behind. Filling Every Gap, Claiming Every Space:
-
Wherever there's a missing piece in our communities—whether it's jobs, housing, or services—BlacATL30 is about filling that space with Black-owned businesses that meet our needs and enhance our lives. From grocery stores to tech hubs, these businesses don't just serve—they dominate.
The Strategy: Disruption, Not Compliance
BlacATL30 is not an adjustment to the current system; it's creating a new one. Built-in five-year increments within a ten-year rolling plan, this strategy is relentless, unapologetic, and fueled by the determination to reclaim what has always been ours.
-
Reclaiming Our Resources:
Atlanta's Black community spends billions of dollars annually, yet only a fraction of that stays within our neighborhoods. BlacATL30 flips the script, ensuring our money circulates in our communities and empowering our businesses and institutions.
-
Building for Us, By Us:
Black-owned enterprises will fill every gap in our ecosystem, whether a local grocery store or a cutting-edge tech firm. These businesses will anchor our neighborhoods with jobs, pride, and lasting impact.
-
Neighborhood Power:
BlacATL30 isn't about centralizing power—it's about distributing it to every neighborhood, empowering communities to create their own futures. Each neighborhood gets its own plan, developed by its people, reflecting its unique vision while contributing to the citywide movement.
-
Breaking Dependency:
BlacATL30 is a call for Black self-reliance. We harness our expertise, capital, and creativity to build a system that doesn't ask for permission or approval. This emphasis on self-reliance empowers us and instills a sense of independence.
Philosophy: We Don't Need a System. We Are the System.
BlacATL30 is a refusal to settle for the scraps of a system that wasn't built for us. It's a commitment to using what we already have—our resources, our knowledge, and our determination—to create a new reality. This philosophy of 'we are the system' makes us feel integral and important to the movement.
-
Radical Ownership:
BlacATL30 doesn't stop at participating in industries—we're here to own them outright. Ownership is the cornerstone of this movement, from land to businesses to institutions.
-
Economic Sovereignty:
Every dollar spent in a Black neighborhood must uplift that neighborhood. BlacATL30 ensures that Black dollars stay Black, creating a ripple effect of wealth that empowers entire communities.
-
Local Power, Citywide Change:
While BlacATL30 drives a unified vision for Atlanta, its true power lies in its ability to amplify local voices. Each neighborhood is equipped to lead its own transformation while building a more robust, united Atlanta.
The Call: Create the Future, Neighborhood by Neighborhood
BlacATL30 isn't just a plan—it's a demand for action. Every neighborhood in Atlanta is called to take ownership of its destiny by designing its own version of BlacATL30. This isn't a template; it's an invitation to dream big, act boldly, and take control.
-
What will your neighborhood build? Will it create businesses that fill critical gaps, from schools to health services? Will it reclaim its land for Black families and institutions? The choice is yours. Will it create businesses that fill critical gaps, from schools to health services? Will it reclaim its land for Black families and institutions? The choice is yours.
-
How will you lead?
BlacATL30 isn't about following—it's about leading. Every neighborhood plan is a declaration of independence designed to achieve total transformation on its own terms.
The Outcome: Total Transformation, Black Power Realized
When BlacATL30 is fully realized, Atlanta will be unrecognizable—not as a city that supports its Black community, but as defined and led by it.
-
Every neighborhood will thrive as an ecosystem of Black excellence.
-
Every gap will be filled with businesses, services, and opportunities created by us, for us.
-
Every dollar will build wealth that stays in our hands, creating a legacy for generations.
BlacATL30 is about something other than slow progress or minor improvements. It's about commanding our future, filling every gap, and building a city where Black excellence isn't just visible—it's unstoppable. It is the development of operational plans with milestone markers that will guide our progress. Will your neighborhood step up to lead the revolution?
